Nova Terra — website concept for a residential developer

A corporate website for a boutique residential complex near Kyiv, styled as a set of architectural drawings: buyers pick a floor on the facade, open the apartment plan and calculate their payment right away.

Demo UI in Ukrainian — we build in any language.

This is a concept, not a client project. The brand, people and data are fictional; the code is real. It was built for the Ukrainian market, so the demo interface is in Ukrainian. Order a site, and with your permission it becomes our next real case study.

The task

What the site had to do

Buyers of an apartment in a new development fear three things: that the building won’t be finished, that it will lose power and water during blackouts, and that the “from” price on the site has nothing to do with the real one. Most developer sites respond with renders and a “Leave a request” button — and lose the people who want to figure things out on their own.

The Nova Terra site had to work like a sales office that never sleeps:

  • let people find their apartment themselves — by floor, area, price and view;
  • calculate payments honestly: the developer’s installment plan, a government-backed mortgage program and a bank mortgage — with an editable rate and no unverified numbers;
  • address fears: construction progress by quarter, permits and documents published openly, the shelter and backup systems;
  • turn interest into a warm lead — a brochure request that already contains the chosen apartment or calculation.

The solution

Design and UX decisions

The idea — the website as a set of architectural drawings. Every section is a numbered “sheet” with axes, a scale and a title block; in the bottom-right corner a title-block navigator shows which sheet you’re on and lets you jump to any other. The site speaks the language of the profession and instantly stands apart from hundreds of identical render-driven sites.

  • Hero — an illustration of the complex among pines at dusk, with lights gradually coming on in the windows. Next to it, a construction progress card with percent complete, delivery date and price per square meter.
  • Interactive SVG facade. Hovering highlights a floor and shows how many apartments are available and from what price; a click opens the floor plan with color-coded statuses, and from there the apartment plan with dimensions and a room schedule.
  • Apartment finder. Filters by rooms, area, price, floor, section and forest view; cards with floor plans generated from data — the catalog connects easily to the developer’s CRM or feed.
  • Payment calculator. Three scenarios — 0% installments, a government mortgage program and a bank mortgage; the rate is editable, and a chart shows the down payment, principal and total interest. The apartment’s price is filled in automatically from its card.
  • Safety and self-sufficiency. A schematic section of the building: shelter, generators, lifts with backup power, a well, a solar plant — clicking a system highlights it on the diagram. Plus a shelter plan with zones for families, work and pets.
  • Trust instead of promises. A construction timeline by quarter with a progress diagram, an open register of permits and a “verify us yourself” checklist.
  • Conversion. “Calculate payment” and “Book a viewing” buttons on the apartment card carry the context into the form; the brochure form has a messenger choice, phone mask and validation.
